Sormac supplies four processing lines, chief supplier to Kout Food Group!
For the completely new processing factory of the Kout Food Group in Kuwait, Sormac has supplied a leafy vegetable line, a carrot line, an onion line and a fruit-washing line. The whole project was executed in close and pleasant collaboration with Stephen M Moorby, the general production manager of Kout Food Group.
Kout Food Group was founded in 1998 and exploits restaurants, produces foodstuffs and participates in similar companies. The first contacts between Kout Food Group and Sormac were made in 2006 in Paris at the IPA trade fair.
Following this, technicians from Kout Food Group visited Sormac to see the factory and to visit reference projects. “That’s when we were really convinced of the high quality of the Sormac processing machines and the excellent service,” notes Stephen Moorby.
Because of its size and diversity, the order from Kout Food was obviously a challenging project for Sormac. For Stephen Moorby, the main benefit of the collaboration lay in the ease of one-stop-shopping. “Through the complete, high-quality product range Sormac was able to fit out the planned production lines from A to Z. That was naturally a huge advantage for us.”
Among the machines Sormac supplied Kout Food were a knife peeler KP-60/HS, a carrot-topping and piece-cutting machine WOS-1A, a fruit washer FW-100, an onion peeler USM-X60 and a leafy vegetable line with two Pulstar 100 washers and a SC-740 centrifuge.
